With a biometric passport you need no visa for the Schengen area, up to 90 days in any 180. At the border you may be asked for the hotel booking, insurance and the return ticket: all three are in our package.
The nicest way is a bus to Punta Sabbioni and a boat from there to San Marco. A bus to Venice's bus station is another option.
Going in the sea is free, but on most of the beach sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. Some hotels offer their own beach area to guests.
